The service starting by herself alone from offering taxi service as a public taxi before joining Airport Taxi Service. While she worked as an airport taxi driver, Julie had met many of her friends who have the same view in offering extendsive services to the customer as well as helping the social in every way they can. These friends joined  J & J Tourist Taxi which later   they all became members of BMA (Bangkok Metropolitan Administration) Tourist Taxi founded by Bangkok Governor, Bhichit Rattanakul, to provide transportation to tourists. The team was chosen to serve the Asian Game 1999 which held in Bangkok and BOI Fair in year 2000.

Expansion of Julie's Business

Julie's business has expanded so much by word of mouth from her 500 plus regular clients. Her interviews have been published in The Nation Newspaper, Metro Bangkok Magazine, "The Lonely Planet", and City Life. She has also appeared on the popular Thai television "Jor Jai" or "Inside-out" , "Morning Talk", "Women Variety", and Channel 9 Business News of her success and excellent service.

From offering a taxi service alone, now J & J Taxi also provides sight seeing tours, van and executive car rental with more than 20 professional drivers who are well-trained and are able to communicate in English.

We believe that customers' needs are different, therefore we try to tailor our services according to their requirement. Some tourists come here for business, some for shopping or some for golfing, we must be able to provide them what they want, so that they will be back home happily. Our customers can just pack their luggages and fly here, we will bring them to the places where they look for. We can set up the itinerary to suit their time as well.

Julie on Social Works

Julie believe in returning what she get to the social. She has worked voluntary as a member and  reporter of radio stations, for example, Bangkok City Radio (96 FM) - the all day traffic reporting channel where help can be requested through the radio. She has also assisted  Bangkok Close Up Radio, in reporting news and live interview with tourists.

With the latest establishment of "Woman Smile Taxi Drivers Club", Julie believe it would help women taxi drivers among themselves. For customers, she hope it would be recommended especially to women who travel alone or mother and children. They can be sure of their safety, though they do not know anyone in Thailand.
